About Me

I have spent the first part of my career in community mental health, both as a clinician and program manager. I made the decision to transition to private practice and continue to work as a solo practitioner. As a social worker, I am passionate about social justice, ethical treatment, and meeting people where they are at. In my work as a certified addictions counselor, I have gained a deep respect for how difficult making changes can be for all of us. I have also seen people conquer overwhelming problems and finally have the life they have always wanted.

Interests

In my clinical work, I continue to deepen my knowledge of EMDR and enjoy being a resource to newer clinicians. On a personal level, I love to travel, go on hikes with my family and our dog, and curl up with a good book.
